Wood Packaging Regulations for E.U.

As of July 1, 2009, all wood packaging materials bound for the E.U. must meet the following conditions, regardless of their origin date:

  • Bark Restriction Tool: Each bark strip must be:
  • Less than 3 cm (1.3/16 in) wide, regardless of length.
  • Or, if wider, the bark strip must be less than 50 cm (approximately the size of a credit card).
  • Compliance Assurance: At James Coe Wood Products, Inc., our pallets and wood packaging services meet the current international regulations regarding "bark limits." This ensures that our products are suitable for international shipping without delays or issues.
